Art Integrated Learning to enhance a child’s creativity
The National Curriculum Framework 2005 has recommended: “Art as a subject at all stages covering all four major spheres, i.e music, dance, visual arts, and theatre.”
Art integration engages students in the creative process which offers a universal pathway to learning. This kind of integration not only makes the teaching and learning process joyful, but it also has a positive impact on the development of certain life skills such as communication skills, reflection, and inquiry skills, reconditioning of the mind leading to higher confidence levels, and self-esteem, appreciation of aesthetics and creativity, etc.
Shemstars have integrated with the state of Rajasthan wherein they have explored several Rajasthani cuisines, jewellery, art forms, culture, and so on.
