Based on the contemporary and efficient teaching and learning practices of Singapore, we at Shemford Futuristic School, Guwahati have inculcated the comprehensive programme for K-8 learners. It is an innovative and effective give and takes the process of knowledge transaction in the domain of Mathematics. While kids tend to feel repelled by the conventional strategy of learning Mathematics, GaNIT is an interactive and thought-provoking way to fall in love with the subject.
With special emphasis on developing the cognitive mind to solve the real-time problem and logical reasoning, this programme incorporates the Singapore Bar Model Method (a pedagogical strategy recognized globally and ranked the highest in TIMSS) and heuristics (problem-solving strategies) intricately woven with the guidelines of the NCF 2005 (CBSE) and ICSE 2016 Curriculum.

The coursebooks include unique features such as real-life examples, creative concept visualizations, critical and high-order thinking questions which make learning Maths an engaging experience.
GaNIT is a learner-centric module reinforcing skills in young budding minds. It includes a series of well-formulated challenges and problems, graded from lower to higher-order thinking that triggers critical thinking and reasoning skills. Events such as GaNIT race enforce fun-learning through a running race mixed with appropriate mathematical problems based on the various age groups.
The programme/coursework also includes a hands-on manual for our teachers to deliver an effective curriculum. The Math-lab activities and lesson plans foster lateral thinking of concepts that make our Shemstars stand out in the sea of learners.
