World Environmental Day 2021 at Shemford

As the Forest Man of our country hails from our state, so we are very keen to observe The World Environment day. As this year we are experiencing the Covid 19-second wave, we at Shemford Futuristic School celebrated World Environment Day Virtually. Numerous students participated in the virtually organized Program, using their own creativity and designed theme proportionally. This year, our message to students was we can’t go back in time to when the world was a greener place, but what we can do is plant trees, clean our oceans and rivers, and make peace with nature that fuels our everyday lives.

India is one country that regularly participates in World Environment Day. Local school and community events like clean-up campaigns, tree-planting drives and trail walks are organized all over the country.

Because of the unusual situation all of Corona Pandemic finds itself in 2021, the community events of previous years were not being running this year. However, that does not mean our students/children cannot still take part in your own way. Many students took part in the program and displayed their creative thought process of saving the environment on their own way.

We are only as healthy as our planet, and we all depend upon a healthy ecosystem in order to thrive. We need to act as a unit to bring our degraded ecosystems. There are so many ways in which we can do our bit for the environment and help Mother Nature spring back to life! By doing things like planting trees, cleaning up riverbanks, or simply giving nature space to recover, we can increase their benefits to society and biodiversity.
